I love nothing more these days than trying to make having a bath a real ritual and am always on the look out for ways to make it even more indulgent. So when the flowers are on the way out, they go in the bath tub, thirsty?, drink from a champagne saucer, light the candles, grab your favourite products and take half an hour to just switch off. I am currently obsessed with the new Tropic Haircare range and having done some research into the trendy (and beautiful) citrus baths I decided it was time to get on board and blend the too.
The benefits of citrus bathing are endless, helping to remove dead skin cells, increase collagen production and boost antioxidants they not only help your skin appear smoother and healthier, it is great for soothing sore, tired muscles as well as enabling mental clarity. The preparation of such a beautiful ritual is an act of self love in itself, ensuring you get the ultimate escape right within your own home.
Throw in my Tropic favourites to add even more luxury to your bathing experience. I mix 3 caps of the Awaken the Senses Bath Oil into hot water before pulling Hair Feast conditioner through my hair and using it as a mask for the length of my bath before washing it out amongst the lemons.
